The action of the Play passes in the dining-room of the Gibbons' house, 17 Sycamore Road, Clapham Common.

No less than five out of this twelve-strong cast make their debut during this performance. Among them is a young Del Smith, still to be seen treading the boards some 40 years later.

The newspaper article mentions one special challenge presented by this play, in terms of the ageing of cast members as a number of years pass. The script shows that this period is, in fact, some twenty years, as the action begins in June 1919 and ends in June 1939. Unfortunately I don't have sufficient information to enable me to sort the pictures into chronological order.
